Multilevel Companies – Where Your Marketing Should Be Focused

Successful network marketers all know one thing that you’re probably missing – You should only be focusing your marketing on two groups:

  • People who are already involved in multilevel companies
  • People who are actually looking for information about these multilevel companies.

You have probably spent most of your time marketing to people who are not actively involved in multilevel companies.  This is what 95% of network marketers do every single day.  Hmmm… 95% of network marketers are spending more money in the industry than they are making?  This seems to be an awfully big coincidence!

You already know how difficult it is to convince someone from “the outside” to get involved in the MLM industry, so stop doing it.  Most people don’t understand the potential of network marketing and have no interest in having their own business.

Shouldn’t you be focusing your efforts on people who are already invested in the MLM mindset?

These people have already indicated they were interested in their own business and they are willing to put money and time into setting it up. The already believe that network marketing is their key to financial freedom, their problem is they just don’t know how to succeed in it.

This group of people:

  • Already believes in the MLM mindset
  • Isn’t having any success
  • They desperately want to succeed in the industry, they just don’t know how.

These people have already identified themselves as opportunity buyers, not just seekers.  Your success in network marketing depends upon this concept.  Yes, they may already have a network marketing business, but that doesn’t really matter.

The concept of Attraction Marketing comes into play here and is beyond the scope of this article, but here is the short answer.  95% of network marketers are failing.  If you can show them how to have success, they will be very, very interested in anything else you have to show them.

Once you obtain a list of multilevel companies it’s time to do research keywords.  Your list should show the focus of their product line to help your research.  When you research keywords and combine your research with the list of over 900 multilevel companies, your keyword list is nearly endless.

Regardless of the type of marketing you’re focused on (article, content, video, PPC, blogging, etc) choosing the right keywords is the key to success. 

Use your list and look up each multilevel company and find the following:

  • Keywords associated with of the multilevel companies
  • Longer-tailed keywords
  • Company leaders and their products, books, etc.

All of these words are potential keywords for your marketing campaigns.

Use Google search to look up virtually any product. Then glance at the PPC ads showing for the search.  You will find out that almost all of the PPC ads showing are for other products than what you searched for.  These are all people who are targeting their competition.  You can do this too my looking for multilevel companies from the same niche as yours.

So… stop trying to “sell steak to vegetarians”!  Get a list of multilevel companies and focus your marketing on people who are actually interested – other network marketers.
